Technical Features

Supporting structure:
After a series of tests performed on 16 different types of acrylic fabric, a very strong and resistant fabric was finally selected. Consequently, the structure can be used thousands of times without suffering any variation of its chemical and physical characteristics.
A light porosity excludes the possibility that humidity could condense on the internal surface. E.I.L. System has studied and commissioned the construction of a special fabric with a polyurethane coat which allows welding with the most modern techniques for the realization of special products.

Luminosity:E.I.L. System is normally rigged with light sourcesmade of ordinary metallic iodides of ordinary cylindrical form and with a power of 1000 W.
The fabric diffuses the light without dazzling. The lighting characteristics of our products that are available on different markets can be seen in the tests section.

Transport:The tower can be easily folded whereas the whole system , once closed, has an overall dimension of a few centimeters and a weight of 23 kg (illumination accessories included). It reaches a weight of almost 53 kg when supported by an autonomous current generator complete with engine, alternator and tank.
The system can therefore easily be transported in the trunk of a car and operated by only one person.

Uses

Using
.
E.I.L. System was primarily conceived in order to face emercency situations, but turned out to be extremely useful even in the civil, industrial and military sectors. E.I.L. answers the need to provide light in emergency situations such as natural calamities, road accidents, danger warnings, technical illumination, etc.
The System is particularly useful also in hobby and free-time activities. With no autonomous generator present, it can be used to temporarily illuminate vast areas of space at fairs, conventions, and sports meetings, where there is a need for rapid dismantling.
Finally, the possibility of placing several lamps parallel to each other permits rapid illumination of extremely vast areas without recourse to highly specialized personnel.
This opens up numerous possibilities for use in the field of industrial maintenance on all occasions requiring short-time night work.
Furthermore, given its versatility, in the military sector the system finds various possibilities for application in operations and missions in under-equipped territory.

Illumination of disembarkment areas for passengers. Illumination of disembarkment areas for private planes. Immediate intervention in aeroplane disasters.
  • Oil-fields and oil refineriesIllumination in night-time rescue interventions for fire and accidents. Assistance when quenching a fire and emergency intervention at night. Repairing of damaged machinery. Additional and mobile illumination in railway sidings for the surveillance of goods. Any other work that requires temporary or emergency lighting. Additional lighting equipment for the construction of new buildings and pipe-lines.
  • PoliceIllumination of dark areas where no electric light sources are available. Rescue interventions. Road blocks and accidents. Interventions in urban areas with black-outs. Illumination of encampments or remote areas. Illumination in order to allow immediate inspection and investigation of criminal offences. Emergency lighting for patrolling. Signalling and marking road blocks. Any other situation which requires temporary or emergency illumination.
  • MilitaryIllumination of isolated stretches or areas along coasts. Rescue in accidents. Assistance in fire and emergencies during the night. Emergency repairs. Illumination of training fields. Temporary illumination of danger areas. Rapid installing of radio aerials . Illumination of temporary runways for aeroplanes and helicopters. Any other use in operative missions in non-equipped areas.
  • NavyIllumination of harbour areas and freight stocking areas. Additional illumination in operations of loading or unloading freight. Emergency lighting to identify vessels in difficulty. Emergency lighthouses.
  • RailwaysOrdinary and exceptional upkeep of railway lines. Emergency rescue in railway disasters. Additional illumination of areas where goods are stocked. Any other situation that requires temporary or emergency lighting.
